Our mission at Green Mommie is to provide Central Arkansas parents a way to easily cloth diaper their children in efforts to reduce a baby's environmental footprint (butt print!).
Cloth diapers are an eco friendly alternative to dispoable diapers. In the course of diapering a child, the child will use on average 6000 dispoable diapers which equates to 2000 pounds of unsanitary waste dumped in our landfills. The diapers put in our landfills today will still be there 250 - 500 years from now as they don't decompose. No pins! Today's cloth diapers don't require any special folding either and the diaper covers are all about velcro or snaps... no fear of sticking your precious bundle with a pin. For those worried about odor, we keep our cloth diaper pail in our bedroom!
